SINOPSIS
Anna adalah seorang anak yang memiliki riwayat penyakit pernafasan. sampai akhirnya ia dikirim ke rumah bibinya di sebuah kota di Hokkaido. Rumah bibinya yang dekat rawa diharapkan ibunya bisa sedikit membuat keadaaan Anna lebih baik. Di tempat bibinya ia bertemu dengan Marnie, seorang gadis yang tinggal didekat rawa. Dari situlah ia mulai sering mengunjungi Marnie sampai suatu hari ia melihat penghuni lain di rumah Marnie. Cerita ini berlanjut sampai Anna tahu bahwa Marnie adalah Neneknya.
